Who is Miles Teves?

Good question. Miles is an artist. He is a painter and a sculptor currently making his living as a conceptual designer for the entertainment industry. Films, Television, and Computer Games are some of the mediums to which he makes his contribution. He entered the broad yet shallow stream of Hollywood in the ominous year of 1984 after slipping out of art college, and strangely enough has been at it ever since. A child of the 60's and 70's he was raised on a steady stream of as much oblique American pop-culture as he could ferret out of the pages of TV guide. Godzilla, Batman, Star Trek, Whacky Packages, Plop magazine, old horror and sci-fi films and Monty Python were staples in this freakish yet formative diet. The Disclosure.

This is a non-profit website! My intent is not to make money directly from any of the images on this website or to steal anyone's thunder. The laws governing what I can and cannot display here are many and often contradictory. Although other parties may actually 'own' many of the images, I consider myself to be their 'artistic' owner and thereby have an innate right to exhibit these creative efforts after the shroud of secrecy has been lifted by the release of the final product. Fortunately websites are now the standard means for exhibiting one's portfolio for people who do what I do. It is my sincere hope that no one I have worked with takes exception to this or feels that the work of their ownership is in 'bad company' with any of the other work displayed here. My work spans a wide range of subject matter and I would like to think that the skill with which they are all executed bridges any perceived gaps in taste. I should also mention that the more I find myself in the position of Art Directing different projects the more difficult it becomes to discern whose actual handiwork belongs to whom, especially in the medium of sculpture. By this I mean that I may display works on this website where I invested much of my time and energy 'directing' other artists rather than sculpting myself in their entirety. To leave these projects out of the picture would create large holes in the timeline of my career so I try to give credit where credit is due and apologize in advance if I get any of my facts wrong.
