MasonVerger-sketch

This is a sketch done for the makeup of Mason Verger from Hannibal. This was based quite closely to the description of the character in the book which we were trying to be faithful to. Ultimately, Ridley Scott echewed this design approach for a perhaps, even more ghastly final makeup which was created for the film. Ridley came in with a picture of a dead and slightly rotted baby's head he had found somewhere, and that became the basis for the makeup eventually sculpted by Glen Hans.
