JORUNE

This is the original cover for the boxed edition of Jorune circa 1985. A very young and beautiful Carla Rocha posed for the girl here. The oil painting I did for this cover was never finished, and was whisked from under my brush and brought to be photographed for the color separations with the paint still wet. There are raw and unfinished areas all over this piece where the underpainting shows through.

Ah, to be 22 again....
